The Mission Minyan is a group of Jews
who get together on a regular basis for spirited traditional davening
(and related festivities) in San Francisco's Mission District.
We meet regularly:
- every Friday night for Kabbalat Shabbat at 7:00 PM. We meet at the Women's Building:
3543 18th St. between Guerrero and Valencia, on the second floor in
the Audre Lorde room. Click
for a map.
- to match guests and hosts for home hospitality every Friday night. Email us to volunteer a spot at your table or ask to be hosted. Meal availability is limited to generous hosts' capacity so we can't guarantee a spot, but we do our best!
- every other Shabbat morning
- for special learning sessions, holiday programs,
social action projects and social events from time to time.
You can find out a lot about us by reading the
website but the best way is to join us sometime soon! See you in the Mission.
