The Mission Minyan is a group of Jews
who get together on a regular basis for spirited traditional davening
(and related festivities) in San Francisco's Mission District.
We meet regularly:
- every Friday night for Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:30 PM. We meet at the Women's Building:
3543 18th St. between Guerrero and Valencia, on the second floor in
the Audre Lorde room. Click
for a map.
- to match guests and hosts for home hospitality every Friday night. Email us to volunteer a spot at your table or ask to be hosted. Meal availability is limited to generous hosts' capacity so we can't guarantee a spot, but we do our best!
- every other Shabbat morning
- for special learning sessions, holiday programs,
social action projects and social events from time to time.
You can find out a lot about us by reading the
website but the best way is to join us sometime soon! See you in the Mission.
We moved to our "winter" schedule for Friday nights, starting Erev Shabbat services at 6:30pm, starting on Friday, October 24.
The Shabbat Chanukkah Dinner is coming! Check out the upcoming events page.
